[photo story #6] 내 머리 속의 유럽

사람들은 자신들만의 추억을 가지고 있다. 특히 그 추억은 여행에서 많이 남는다. 친구들과 물놀이를 했던 기억, 사랑하는 사람과 밤새도록 이야기하며 울고 웃었던 기억들이 우리들에게는 ‘추억’이란 두 글자로 남는다. 사람들은 그 소중한 추억들은 머릿속에, 가슴속에 담기만 하는 것이 아쉬워서 사진으로 남기게 되었다. 우리는 가끔 이런 얘기를 한다. “남는 건 사진밖에 없어.” 이런 말에서 알 수 있듯이, 사진은 옛 추억을 기억하게 하는 중요한 흔적이 되었다. 이번 photo story에서는 제 작년 11월에 약 한 달 동안 유럽여행을 다녀온 국민*인의 이야기를 꾸며보았다. 그럼, 지금부터 사진 속에 이야기를 들어보자.
올해도 얼마 남지 않았다. 두 달 뒤에는 2014년이고 우리에게는 겨울방학이 찾아온다. 위에 이야기를 듣고 방학을 맞아 유럽여행을 계획하는 국민*인들도 있을 것 같다. 물론 꼭 유럽이 아니어도 좋다. 어디든지 추억을 남길만한 곳을 찾아 떠나는 것은 20대 청춘에게 너무나 좋은 특권인 것 같다. 대신 꼭 카메라를 들고 가자. 남는 건 사진뿐이니까.
