걷기 대회 걷기 축제 등 걷기와 관련된 행사들이 봇물 터지듯이 쏟아져 나오고 있다. 대학생이 되면 한번쯤은 해보고 싶은 위시리스트에 꼭 포함된다고 하는 '대장정'. 학교를 비롯해 각종 기업에 이르기 까지 다양한 주최 측으로부터 행사가 펼쳐지는데 조금은 특별한 의미를 가진 대장정에 다녀온 국민*인이 있다고 해 만나보았다. 서화정(산림환경시스템학과 11) 학생이 다녀온 'KFF 나라사랑 평화 나눔 대학생 DMZ 국토대장정'은 한국자유총연맹에서 주최한 행사로 긴 타이틀만큼이나 여운도 길게 남았다고 하는데 이들의 소중한 추억을 Photo story에서 사진으로 담아보았다.
'같이의 가치'라는 슬로건을 내 건 한 광고를 인상 깊게 본 적이 있다. 각박해져가는 현대 사회 속에서 우리가 하루하루 버틸 수 있는 건 어쩌면 이젠 내 옆에 있는 것이 너무나 당연해져버린 가족과 동료들이 있기 때문이 아닐까? 우리가 좇는 꿈과 그 꿈을 향해 달려가는 방식은 제 각각이지만 그 과정을 '같이' 걸어가고 있음을 다시 한 번 기억해야 한다. 그렇다면 지친 몸과 마음쯤이야 감사한 마음으로 극복해낼 수 있지 않을까
