[월드퀀트] 글로벌 퀀트 회사 월드퀀트의 2019 International Quant Championship

글로벌 퀀트 회사 월드퀀트(WorldQuant)에서 개최하는 2019 International Quant Championship (“IQC”)으로 여러분을 초대합니다!
IQC는 각종 데이터를 이용해 주식 가격을 예측하는 모델("알파")를 개발하는 대회입니다.
우수한 성적을 거둔 팀은 총 상금 최대 $100,000 내에서 상금 수여기회를 얻으며, 글로벌 퀀트회사 WorldQuant의 리서치 컨설턴트, 인턴 또는 정직원으로 채용될 수 있는 기회를 드립니다.
※ 월드퀀트는 퀀트 투자회사로 현재 전세계 17개 국가에 75개 지사를 두고 있으며, 750여명의 직원과, 1,400여명의 계악된 리서치 컨설턴트들이 근무하고 있습니다.
그 결과 우수한 참가자 5명이 WorldQuant의 정직원으로 전환됐으며, 15명이 인턴으로 채용되었습니다. 작년의 성과를 담은 유튜브 영상을 참고하시기 바랍니다.
대회는 글로벌 퀀트회사 WorldQuant에서 제공하는 온라인 시뮬레이션 플랫폼인 WebSim에서 주로 이루어집니다.
IQC는 다음과 같이 세 개의 Stage로 진행됩니다:
[Stage 1] 국가별 대학 대항전(온라인 예선): 같은 대학 출신 1~6명이 한 팀을 구성하여 출전 (팀원을 찾지 못하셨을 경우 WQKoreaVRC@worldquant.com으로 연락주세요!)
[Stage 2] 국가대표 선발전(본선) : 7월 초 프레젠테이션 및 심사
[Stage 3] 결로벌 대표전(결승) : 9월 초 싱가포르에서 열리는 결승전에 참가하여 프레젠테이션 및 심사
IQC 참가자를 위한 온라인 퀀트 투자 강좌 시리즈 또한 3월 일부터 6월 13일까지 제공됩니다.
