개교 60주년을 맞아 특별한 전시가 본부관 1층에서 열리고 있다.
예술대학 미술학부 입체미술전공 사진 동아리 'a/t balance(회장 안진우)'에서 직접 기획한 사진전이 그것이다. 동아리 이름인 a/t balance는 카메라 구조의 원리에서 따온말로 a는 Aperture(조리개)의 약자로서 t는 sutter speed ,즉time(시간)의 약자에서 가져온 것이라고 한다.
이번 전시는 뷰파인더를 통해 바라본 우리학교의 다양한 모습들을 8명의 학생들이 직접 찍고 흑백인화하여 모은 것으로 우리가 무심히 지나쳤던 학교의 일상적인 모습들이 사진을 통해 새롭게 다가옴을 느낄 수가 있다. 2달전부터 준비에 들어가서 400여통의 필름을 쓰고 회의에 회의를 거듭하는 등 노력을 기울였다고 한다.
이번 전시는 개교 60주년을 기념하여 학교사랑에 대한 학생들의 자발적 참여를 보여주고 있어 더욱 특별한 의미를 지니고 있다. 앞으로도 학교를 소재로 한 다양한 문화적 이벤트가 많이 열리길 기대해본다.
