한국정치학회 인재저술상, "정치와 윤리" 이종은(정치외교학과) 교수 수상

정치학 및 사회학, 행정학 등의 학술활동을 증진시키기 위하여 설립된 한국정치학회 2010년도 정기총회에서 활발한 학술 활동 및 학문분야 발전에 기여한 학계인사들에게 수여되는 학술상, 인재저술상, 우수논문상에 대한 시상이 한양대학교 HIT(한양종합기술연구원)에서 있었다.
이번 총회에서는 본교 이종은(정치외교학과) 교수가 『정치와 윤리』저서로 인재저술상을 받았다. 『정치와 윤리』는 정치권력의 도덕적 정당성에 대한 주제의식을 가지고 서구 정치사상사를 살펴보는 책으로, 이 책에서 이교수는 '사회 전체의 공리는 증진돼야 하지만, 전체의 공리 때문에 개인의 공리가 저해되어서는 안되며, 공리와 관계없이 개인의 기본적인 자연권은 존중돼야 한다'고 말했다.
또한 정년퇴임 원로 회원에게 수여된 공로패 증정식에서는 본교 권무수(정치외교학과), 변동건(정책학전공) 명예교수가 공로패를 수여 받았다.
