체육대학, HDC리조트, 한국암웨이미래재단과 ‘아동 건강 개선을 위한 사회공헌’ 업무 협약

체육대학(학장 조욱연)은 한국암웨이미래재단과 업무 협약을 통해 어린이 건강증진 프로그램을 지원하고 있으며, 사회공헌 역량 강화를 위해 11월 2일(토) 오크밸리 피클볼 파크에서 HDC리조트와 ‘어린이 건강지킴이 사회공헌’을 위한 업무 협약을 추가로 체결하고, ‘피클볼 체험’ 교실을 운영하였다.

이번 행사는 참여한 어린이들이 ‘피클볼을 배우고 즐길 수 있어 즐겁고 행복했다’는 소감과 함께 감사의 인사를 전해와 더욱 뜻깊은 시간이었다. 이번 협약에 참여한 김미향 교수(스포츠산업레저학과)는 빌게이츠가 사랑하는 스포츠로 널리 알려진 피클볼은 전세계적으로 참여 인구가 급증하고 있는 라켓스포츠로, 쉽게 배우고 즐길 수 있고 운동 효과도 좋아 그 인기가 더욱 상승될 것으로 전망하며, 기회가 된다면 꼭 한번 참여해 보기를 권하였다. 체육대학은 앞으로도 협약 기관과 함께 아동 건강 개선을 위한 ESG 활동에 적극 참여하며 스포츠의 사회적 가치 확장을 위해 노력할 계획이다.
