한국스카우트 서울북부연맹과 청소년 교육 활성화를 위한 MOU 체결

국민대학교(총장 정승렬)가 한국스카우트 서울북부연맹(연맹장 김경호)과 지난 5월 7일(수) 본부관 203호에서 창의적 인재 양성 및 청소년 교육 활성화를 위한 상호협력 업무협약(MOU)을 체결했다.
이번 협약을 계기로 양 기관은 △청소년 교육 프로그램 공동 개발 및 운영 △ 인적·물적 자원의 상호 교류 및 지원 △효과적인 사업 수행을 위한 홍보 및 교육 등 다방면에서 상호 유기적인 협력 체제를 구축할 전망이다.
국민대 정승렬 총장은 “본교의 교육철학인 공동체정신과 협력과 단결을 중시하는 스카우트 정신을 바탕으로 양 기관이 협업할 수 있는 좋은 계기가 마련되었다”며 “이를 계기로 양 기관이 차세대 리더 양성에 기여할 수 있도록 지원을 아끼지 않을 것”이라고 전했다.
한국스카우트 서울북부연맹 김경호 연맹장은 “청소년 교육 노하우를 갖춘 한국스카우트 연맹과 우수한 교육 인프라를 갖춘 국민대와의 협업을 통하여 미래 사회에 기여할 수 있는 인재 양성에 힘쓸 것”이라고 밝혔다.
이날 업무협약 체결식에는 국민대 정승렬 총장, 김현진 학생처장을 비롯하여 한국스카우트 서울북부연맹 김경호 연맹장, 허준호 치프커미셔너와 실무자들이 참석해 향후 본격적인 협력 추진을 위한 단계별 전략과 구체적 상호 협력 방안에 대해 논의했다.
