2012년 제54회 사법시험 1차 수석합격

법무부에서 발표한 2012년 제 54회 사법시험 1차에서 본교 김상철(00) 학생이 수석합격을 하였다. 김상철 학생외에도 강원상(02), 김정환(04), 정찬웅(06), 김백용(09) 등 총 5명이 1차 시험 합격자 명단에 이름을 올렸다.
학생들 자신의 노력 뿐만 아니라 대학의 노력 결과 역시 합격자 수를 좌우하는 만큼 법과대학은 사법시험 합격자를 늘리기 위하여 새로운 각오로 노력을 하여 왔다. 사법시험을 지원하는 법고연을 운영하며 고시생들에게 동영상 강의, 모의고사, 학원 수강, 각종 특강 및 장학금 지급 혜택을 지원하고 있다. 현재 법고연에서는 약 60여명이 관련 시험을 준비 중에 있으며 그 중 사법시험 준비 인원은 20명 정도이다.
법과대학에서는 2010년 제 52회 사법시험에서는 총 4명, 2011년 제 53회 사법시험에서는 총 3명의 최종합격자를 배출하였다.
