중앙디자인 콘테스트 수상 / 이혜진(의상디자인학과 08) 학생

제43회 중앙디자인 콘테스트에서 국민대학교 의상디자인학과 4학년 이혜진(08학번) 학생이 동상(여성중앙상)을 수상하였다.
1970년 여성중앙 창간과 함께 시작된 중앙디자인 콘테스트는 대한민국 패션대전, 부산패션디자인 경진대회와 함께 대한민국 3대 패션대회로 꼽힌다. 또, 박윤수, 이상봉, 김철웅, 루비나 등의 국내외 정상급 디자이너를 배출해 국내 최고의 역사와 권위를 자랑하는 신인 패션 디자이너 발굴 콘테스트로 평가받고 있다.
특히 올해는 세계적으로 주목 받는 유명 기성 작가와 브랜드가 참여하는 자리인 서울 패션위크 기간에 펼쳐져 스타 디자이너와 젊은 패션 디자이너들의 무대를 함께 만나볼 수 있는 대회가 되었다.
이번 대회에는 약 600여 명이 작품을 출품해, 이 가운데 1~2차 예선을 통과한 50명의 작품이 무대에 올라 최고상인 대상(지식경제부 장관상)을 비롯한 16명이 최종 선발됐다
