국제창의공학 설계경진대회 최우수작품상 수상 / 기계자동차공학부 테크이글스팀

2012년 12월 12일부터 3일간 타이완 국립대만대학에서 열린 국제 CEDC 창의공학 설계경진대회 (Creative Engineering Design Competition)에서 국민대 기계자동차공학부 테크이글스팀 (지도교수: 한화택 / 참여학생 김신국, 박영진, 배지훈, 조원상, 이성재, 김제연, 이병준)이 최우수 작품상(Best Prototype Award)을 수상하였다.
이번 작품은 “스마트폰을 이용한 유동가시화 실험장치”로서 지난 달 대한기계학회 주관으로 열린 제2회 대학생 설계경진대회에서 대상을 수상하여 국제경진대회에 우리나라 대표로 참가하게 된 것이다.
팀장 김신국 학생은 “국제대회에 참가하게 된 것만으로도 좋은 경험이었는데 이렇게 상까지 받게 되어 너무 기쁘다.” 면서 앞으로 좀더 개선해서 특허를 출원할 계획이며 많은 대학생들이 활용할 수 있도록 교육장비 회사와 연계하여 시판되도록 하면 좋겠다는 포부를 밝혔다.
