제 12회 국제주얼리디자인공모전 대상 수상 / 김성륜(테크노전문대학원 금속주얼리랩 12) 학생

제 12회 ‘국제주얼리디자인공모전’에서 테크노디자인대학원 금속주얼리랩의 김성륜이 대상(지식경제부장관상)을 수상하는 영예를 안았다.
국내외 주얼리 디자이너를 대상으로 우수 디자이너 발굴을 목적으로 하는 (사)한국귀금속보석디자인협회 주최의 ‘국제주얼리디자인공모전’은 올해 지식경제부, 한국무역협회, 중소기업청, 특허청, 한국디자인진흥원, (재)월곡주얼리산업진흥재단, (사)한국귀금속보석단체장협의회, (사)한국디자인단체총연합회, (재)한국공예디자인문화진흥원, (사)한국디자인지식산업포럼, (사)한국디지털디자인협의회의 후원으로 진행되었으며, 실물부문, 렌더링/캐드부문에 걸쳐 국내 541점, 해외 10개국에서 73여점이 응모하여 경합을 펼쳤다. 국민대학교 테크노전문대학원 금속주얼리랩에서는 1, 2학기 5명의학생이 이번 공모전의 실물부문에 참가하여, 김성륜의 해파리를 주제로 작업한 <바다의 위험한 보석>이 대상을 수상하였으며, 김미영의 한옥을 보티브로 한 <추와색>이 금상(한국무역협회회장상)을, 김슬령의 <우리함께 살아요>가 동상을 수상하는 등 참가자 5명 모두 입상하는 쾌거를 올렸다.
수상작들은 내년 4월 (사)한국귀금속보석디자인협회가 주관으로 KOEX전시장에서 열리는 ‘Jewelry Fair Korea 2013’에 전시될 예정이다.
