2013 제 40회 한국정보처리학회 추계학술발표대회 우수논문상 수상 / 전자공학부

본교 전자공학부 스마트 임베디드 시스템 실험실(지도 교수 정구민)의 이주영, 이경수 학생은 지난 11월 8일부터 9일까지 제주한라대학교에서 개최된 ‘2013 제 40회 한국정보처리학회 추계학술발표대회’에 논문을 제출하여 우수논문상을 수상하였다.
발표한 논문은 ‘스마트폰과 OPRoS를 이용한 DARwIn-OP 로봇 제어 어플리케이션 개발에 대한 연구’이다. DARwIn-OP는 전세계적으로 널리 사용되는 휴머노이드 로봇이고 OPRoS(Open Platform for Robotic Services)는 국내에서 만들어진 로봇 소프트웨어 플랫폼이다. 본 연구에서는 OPRoS 플랫폼을 다윈에 탑재하여 쉽게 로봇 어플리케이션을 개발할 수 있도록 하였으며 OPRoS를 스마트폰과 연동하여 원격으로 휴머노이드 로봇을 제어하는 어플리케이션을 개발하여 좋은 평가를 받았다.
우수 논문상을 수상한 이주영 학생은 ‘우수논문상을 받게 되어 매우 기쁘게 생각하고, 본 논문의 연구 및 개발에 도움을 주신 교수님과 한국생산기술연구원에 감사의 말을 전하며 다음에도 이처럼 좋은 성과를 얻기 위해 노력하겠다.’고 소감을 밝혔다.
