수학과 이옥연 교수, 한국전력공사 지원사업 선정

우리대학 수학과 이옥연 교수 연구팀이 한국전력공사에서 지원하는 "AMI 경량 암호시스템 개발" 사업의 수행기관으로 선정되어 앞으로 약 6억 7천만원의 사업비를 지원받게 된다.
이옥연 교수 연구팀이 참여하는 프로젝트는 한국전력공사 전력연구원에서 시행하여 1년 6개월의 과제수행기간 동안 AMI 시스템에 요구되는 보안성을 제공하기 위한 Meter, DCU(데이터 전송장치)와 각 기능을 담당하는 서버 등 다양한 운영환경에 적합한 경량 암호모듈을 개발하고, 암호모듈의 안전성과 구현 적합성을 검증하기 위한 IT 보안 인증 사무국의 KCMVP 검증을 목표로 연구를 수행 할 예정이다.
이옥연 교수 연구팀은 산업통상자원부 지원‘스마트 디바이스용 칩(ARM7/9/11, UICC 등)에 최적화된 암호(ARIA, SEED, KCDSA 등)의 국가 인증 모듈 및 배포 체계 개발’, ‘스펙트럼 자원 효율성 극대화를 통한 스마트 홈네트워크용 다중대역 WPAN 시스템 개발’과제를 수행 중에 있으며 국내외 정보보안 관련 연구과제를 지속적으로 수행해 왔다.
