비즈니스IT전문대학원 BK21플러스 사업팀(사업팀장 곽기영 교수), 중간평가 우수 사업팀 선정

비즈니스IT전문대학원의 BK21플러스 사업팀, “신뢰 기반 사회∙경제 정보생태계 구현을 위한 데이터과학 전문연구인력 양성팀”(사업팀장: 곽기영 교수, 참여교수: 정승렬, 김남규, 안현철 교수)은 교육부가 주관하고 한국연구재단에서 실시한 BK21플러스 사업 중간평가 결과 우수 사업팀으로 선정되었다.
BK21플러스 사업은 석박사급 창의인재를 양성하고, 창의성에 기반한 새로운 지식과 기술의 창조를 지원하기 위한 목표로 지난 2013년부터 시작한 사업으로서, 비즈니스IT전문대학원의 BK21플러스 사업팀은 데이터과학 전문연구인력 양성 및 관련 분야를 선도하는 연구역량 강화를 주요한 사업목표로 하고 있다.
비즈니스IT전문대학원의 BK21플러스 사업팀은 지난 3년여의 사업기간 동안 30여명의 석박사 인력을 확보 및 배출하고, 80여 편의 논문을 한국연구재단등재지와 SCI급 저널에 게재하였으며, 국내외 학술대회에서 85회 이상 꾸준히 연구성과를 발표하였다. 또한 국내외 유수의 학술대회로부터 논문상을 12회 수상하기도 하였다.
