자동차·운송디자인학과 Senior Personal Mobility Design 공모전 최우수상 수상

한국건설기술연구원 고령자 자립지원 개인교통수단 개발 컨소시엄이 주관하는 제1회 Senior Personal Mobility Design 공모전에서 국민대학교 하성훈(자동차·운송디자인학과 14), 곽소윤(자동차·운송디자인학과 16), 길호준(자동차·운송디자인학과 16) 학생이 ‘Alsist’로 최우수상 및 상금 200만원을 수상했다.
Senior Personal Mobility Design 공모전은, 일반인에 비하여 보행능력이나 인지능력은 떨어질 수 있으나, 별도의 보행보조기구의 도움 없이 자립보행이 가능한 고령자를 위한 차세대 이동수단의 디자인 발전 방향성을 모색하고자 하는 목적으로, 수상자에게는 한국건설기술연구원 주관 개발관련 컨소시엄과 함께 양산을 목표로 하는 제품개발연구에 참여하게 되는 기회를 부여한다.
최우수상을 수상한 하성훈군은 “사용자 분석, 경쟁모델 및 시장조사등의 디자인리서치를 바탕으로 스케치와 3D모델링을 통하여 기존의 휴대용이동수단 디자인과 차별화되면서도 목적에 부합하는 새로운 디자인을 제안할 수 있었다”면서 이번 공모전에서 팀원들과 함께 상을 수상하게 되어 그동안의 노력이 좋은 결실을 맺은 것 같아 뿌듯하고 감사하다고 밝혔다.
한편, 국민대학교 자동차·운송디자인학과는 지난해부터 한국건설기술연구원과 함께 건강한 고령자를 위한 개인교통수단연구의 디자인분야 연구기관으로 선정되었으며, 관련 기관들과 함께 내년도 하반기 양산모델 출시를 목표로 연구 및 개발을 진행하고 있다.
