제11회 UAUS 건축 연합 축제 우수상 수상 / 건축학부 학생들

우리 대학 건축학부 학생들(팀명: 우리는 슬플 때 춤을 춰)이 지난 9월 14일(수)부터 19일(월)까지 6일간 서울시청광장에서 진행된 2022 제11회 대학생 건축과연합회 파빌리온 기획전시 ‘전통, 잇다’에 참여하였고 최종 심사에서 우수상을 수상하였다.
UAUS (Union of Architecture University Students)는 2022년기준 24개의 국내 건축대학이 소속된 대학생 건축과 연합이다. 매년 학생들이 기획단을 구성하고 건축의 대중화와 건축 대학 학생들간의 교류를 목적으로 전시 및 각종 행사를 진행한다.
이번 전시 주제는 ‘전통, 잇다＇를 타이틀로 과거의 전통에 대해 해석하고, 전통을 통해 과거와 현재의 연결에 대한 탐구를 바탕으로 새로운 방향으로 전통을 재해석하는 파빌리온을 ‘대학생건축과＇의 시선으로 고안하는 것이었다.
학생들은 ‘우리는 슬플 때 춤을 춰’는 전통으로 ‘승무’를 선정하고 재해석하여 서울시청광장에 시민들에게 승무의 춤사위와 감정선을 느낄 수 있는 파빌리온을 제안하였다.
