우리 대학 일반대학원에 재학 중인 석박사통합과정 임지선(지도교수 박종혁), 석사과정 박채희(지도교수 안성만) 학생으로 구성된 팀이 지난 11월 21일 ‘과학기술정보통신부’가 주관하고 ‘한국지능정보사회진흥원(NIA)’과 ‘㈜미디어그룹사람과숲’이 공동 추진한 ‘2022년 인공지능 학습용 데이터 구축사업’의 일환으로 ‘객체 추적 및 추정 데이터’ 4종을 활용하여 신규 서비스 및 아이디어를 기획하는 대회에서 최우수상을 수상하였다.
이번 해커톤은 ‘객체 폐색, 훼손 및 블러링(노이즈), 저조도 환경, 화질 변환 영상 데이터의 인공지능 학습용 데이터를 활용한 실현가능한 서비스 기획’을 주제로 위 4가지 데이터 중 최소 2가지 이상을 활용한 서비스 아이디어를 대상으로 공모가 진행되었다.
본 해커톤에서 임지선(팀장), 박채희 학생의 ‘임박한 드론’ 팀은 “객체 폐색, 노이즈, 저조도 데이터를 활용한 컴퓨터 비전 기반의 스마트 드론 배달 서비스”를 제안하여 최우수상과 상금 200만원을 수상하였다. 이번에 수상의 영예를 안은 학생들은 현재 ‘드론용 보안 스마트 항공전자 슈트 개발’(담당교수 이옥연)의 일원으로 드론 자율착륙을 연구하고 있다.
