국민대학교, 이태원 참사 추모 연주회 개최

국민대학교(총장 임홍재)가 지난 11월 9일(수) 이태원 참사를 추모하는 연주회 ‘호프 어게인(Hope Again)’으로 국민대 구성원들과 애도의 마음을 나누었다.
국민대 음악학부와 학생지원팀 주최로 참사 희생자들을 추모하고 유가족들을 위로하기 위한 연주회를 개최하였다. 민주광장에서 오후 12시 30분부터 30분간 진행된 연주회로, 현악 3중주, 목관 5중주, 성악전공 합창단으로 구성하여 ‘Nearer my God to thee’, ‘J.S.Bach Air on the G string‘, ‘You raise me up’ 등을 연주하고 음악학부 고성호 교수의 지휘 아래 ‘W.A.Mozart Requiem Lacrimosa’를 합창했다. 구성원들은 국화꽃을 나눠 들고 그날의 일을 슬퍼하고 희생자들을 추모했다. 학생들은 연주 중에 눈물을 흘리기도 하고 손을 모아 기도를 하는 모습을 보이기도 했다.
한편, 국민대학교 학생생활상담센터는 참사 이후 재학생들의 심리적 안정화를 위해 카드뉴스 제작, 긴급 1:1 상담서비스, 무료 심리지원 기관 안내 등의 긴급 심리지원 프로그램들을 운영하고 있다. 이 외에도 외상 경험에 대한 전체 교육 프로그램을 준비하고, 다각적인 접근을 통해 학생들의 심리적 외상을 최소화하기 위한 심리지원 서비스를 진행 중이다.
