음성인식어워드 연구발표 부문 및 로봇구동 부문 1등상 수상 / 기계공학부 학생들

우리 대학 기계공학부 김준일, 김선태, 김세현 학생이 산업통상자원부가 주최하고, KTL(한국산업기술시험원)이 주관한 음성인식 어워드에서 연구발표 부문 1등상(경기도지사상)과 로봇구동 부문 1등상(산업통상자원부 장관상)을 수상했다.
이 대회는 로봇의 운영환경에 대한 정의 및 다양한 미션 시나리오 구성을 통해 음성인식 성능과 로봇의 서비스 능력을 평가해 시상하는 대회이다.
국민대 학생들은 미래기술을 통해 몸이 불편하고 거동이 어려운 사회 취약계층에게 도움이 될 수 있는 발명품을 제작하겠다는 비전을 밝혔다. 이러한 비전을 기반으로 음성인식 기술을 접목한 미래기술을 통해 사회취약계층의 팔과 다리가 될 수 있는 로봇을 만들어내는 것이 앞으로의 학생들의 목표이다.
학생들은 “기계공학부 조백규 교수님의 여러 조언으로 좋은 성과를 얻을 수 있었다”며 “으로도 도전·열정의 가치관, 폭넓은 문화적 감성을 통해 대한민국의 다양한 계층을 융합하고, 그들에게 힘을 주는 인재로 성장해 나가겠다”고 밝혔다.
