Asian Contest of Architectural Rookies's Award 수상 / 남수빈(건축설계전공) 학생

우리 대학 건축학부 건축설계전공 남수빈 학생이 제12회 Asian Contest of Architectural Rookies's Award에서 공동2등을 수상했다.
ACARA(Asian Contest of Architecture Rookies Award)는 AUA(Asia United Architecture Associate)와 National Architects Association of R.O.C가 주최하는 아시아 국가 건축학과 재학생을 대상으로 한 국제대회로, 다양한 아시아 문화를 기반으로 수학하는 건축학과 학생들의 작품을 리뷰하고 평가함으로써 재능있는 학생들을 발굴하고 문화를 교류할 수 있는 장을 마련하여 아시아 건축이 더 세계적인 무대로 진출할 수 있도록 독려하는 것이 목표다. 이번 대회에는 한국을 비롯해 대만, 일본, 싱가포르, 인도, 캄보디아, 네팔, 태국, 인도네시아, 라오스, 몽골, 필리핀, 베트남에서 1-2명의 대표학생들이 참가하여 총 20개의 작품이 출품됐다.
대회의 주제는 ‘자연의 순환(Naturally Circular)’으로, 한정된 자원을 효율적으로 이용하거나 자연과 건축의 순환을 도모하기 위한 여러가지 건축적 대안이었다. 남수빈 학생은 ‘Pre-fabrication 기술로 구축되는 건축’과 ‘주거 구독’에 대한 작품으로, 구독 경제가 확장되고 Digital Fabrication 기술이 급속도로 발전한 근미래의 공동주택을 그린 프로젝트를 기획했다. Pre-fabrication의 도입이 건축 폐기물과 운송과정에 있어 이산화탄소의 배출을 줄일 수 있을 뿐만 아니라 현장에서의 변동사항을 최소화할 수 있다는 측면에서 심사위원의 좋은 평가를 받았다.
