제5회 MDF 패션디자인 공모전 장학생 선정 / 이병윤(의상디자인학과 13) 동문, 박태윤(21) 학생

우리 대학 의상디자인학과 이병윤 동문과 박태용 학생이 제5회 MDF 패션디자인 공모전에 지원하여 <해외 패션학교 장학생>, <국내 패션학교 장학생(저학년부)>으로 각각 선정되었다
이병윤 동문은 2020년 졸업 후 쿠시코크에서 디자이너로 활동하다 영국 런던의 Central Saint Martins 예술대학 석사과정 입학을 앞두고 있으며, 이 수상으로 향후 2년간 등록금 전액과 생활지원비 등 2억원 이내의 장학금을 지원받게 된다. 한편 의상디자인학과 2학년에 재학 중인 박태용 학생은 향후 2년간 등록금 전액과 실습비 등 2000만원의 장학금을 지원받을 예정이다.
2020년부터 시작된 MD재단 주최의 이 공모전은 매년 해외 패션학교 장학생 2명, 국내 패션학교 장학생 6명, 해외 패션전시회 견학생 6명을 선발하여 지원한다. 2024년 공모전의 대주제는 “캣워크에서 스트릿으로: 하위문화 스타일과 패션”으로 수상작은 1차 스타일화 심사, 2차 실물심사(저학년부는 포트폴리오 심사), 3차 제작심사를 거쳐 최종 선정되었다.
