충주 고구려 패션 디자인 공모전 우수상 수상 / 박민선, 최지원 (의상디자인학과 21) 학생

우리 대학 의상디자인학과 박민선, 최지원 학생이 (재)충주문화관광재단이 주최한 ‘충주 고구려 패션 디자인 공모전’에서 우수상을 수상하였다.
‘충주 고구려 패션 디자인 공모전’은 충주 고구려 축제 ‘동맹’의 한 행사로 개최되었다.
‘동맹’은 문헌 속 고구려 사람들이 한데 모여 서로 노래와 놀이를 즐겼다는 제천행사 [동맹]을 바탕으로 기획되었으며, 고구려인의 기상과 문화를 체험할 수 있는 행사로 우리나라 대표 고구려 역사문화도시인 충주에서 매년 개최된다. 올해 행사에서는 본 공모전 패션쇼와 함께 전통연희, 옛택견판, 전통무용 등 다양한 공연과 마상무예 시연 등을 선보였다.
박민선, 최지원 학생은 고구려비에 남아있는 역사의 흔적을 여러 겹의 레이어 중첩으로 표현하고, 마모되어 판독하기 어려운 비문을 문양과 비즈로 시각화하여, 충주 고구려비의 형상과 고구려 전통 복식을 현대적으로 재해석하였다는 평가를 받았다.
