제60회 발명의 날 표창 수상 / 김기두(전자공학부) 명예교수

김기두 국민대학교 전자공학부 명예교수가 제60회 발명의 날 기념식에서 세계최초 PPG 신호를 사용한 비침습적 당화혈색소 측정 시제품 개발 등 우수한 공로를 인정받아 국가지식재산위원회 위원장표창을 받았다.
김 교수는 최근 5년간 세계 최초로 ‘PPG 신호를 이용한 비침습적 당화혈색소 추정 알고리즘 및 기기 개발’로 디지털 헬스 웨어러블 기기 및 글로벌 당뇨 모니터링 기기 시장 선점 및 국가 경쟁력 강화에 크게 공헌하였다.
특히 본 발명과 관련하여 2020년부터 세계 저명 저널 SCI(E) 논문 15편 게재, 특허(국내) 9건 등록, PCT 3건 출원, 미국특허 4건 출원 (㈜한국아이티에스에 관련 특허 기술이전: 기술료 1.2억)을 하였으며, 특허 기술이전 한 기업과의 협업을 통해 CES2025 혁신상 (Innovation Award) 3개 수상 (3개부문: Digital Health, Mobile devices Accessories & Apps, Product in support of Human Security), 개발 기술의 우수성을 전세계에 입증하였다.
이 외에도 “지식재산교육선도대학사업”, “신산업 분야 지식재산 융합인재 양성사업”을 통해 지식재산권 교육 확산 및 IP융합인재 양성에 힘써왔다.
