AI 최고급 신진연구자 지원사업 현판증정식 참여 / 이재구(인공지능학부) 교수

우리 대학 인공지능학부 이재구 교수가 연구책임자로 있는 AI스타펠로우십 사업의 현판증정식이 자넌 8월 28일열렸다. 이날 현판식에는 배경훈 과학기술정보통신부 장관을 비롯하여 우리 대학 정승렬 총장과 국내 대학 총장·부총장과 AI대학원협의회장, AI 분야 신진연구자 등이 참석했다. 참석자들은 AI·소프트웨어(SW) 분야 학부생이 AI대학원을 거쳐 우수 신진연구자로 성장하고 AI 최고 석학으로 도약하기 위한 정책 과제와 지원 필요사항에 대해 논의했다.
이재구 교수는 신진교수의 관점에서 본 AI 최고급 인재양성 방안'에 대해 발표했다. 신진연구자 관점에서 AI R&D 지원의 체감 정도에 대해 분석하고 연구 지원, 행정 지원, 성과 보상 등 많은 연구자들이 필요하다고 생각하는 현장의 목소리를 전달했다. AI산업을 선도할 신진연구자의 정착 지원과 육성 중요성도 강조했다.
