경제적 혹은 시간적 여유가 없는 청춘들을 위해 색다른 여행 계획을 제안한다.

코끝에 스며드는 비릿한 생선 냄새, 온 입안의 침을 돌게하는 전 냄새, 오감을 자극하는 향긋한 과일냄새..시장에는 온갖 냄새들이 혼재되어 있다. 그 중에 제일은 사람 냄새이지 않을까. 쳇바퀴처럼 돌아가는 현실을 잠시 떠나 느껴본 사람 냄새. 온종일 사람 속에 둘러싸여 있지만, 진정한 사람의 냄새를 맡지 못하는 허수와비와도 같은 대학생은 아니었는지 다시 한 번 나 자신을 돌아 본다. 먹을거리로 가득한 광장시장과 오랜 세월의 흔적이 남아있는 남대문시장, 일하는 자의 땀이 베어있는 동대문 도매시장. 짧다고 하면 짧을 수도 있는 하루 동안 떠난 시장 여행에는 많은 것들이 담겨 있었다. '서울로 떠나는 시장여행'을 통해 여행에 목마른 청춘들의 갈증이 조금이나마 해소되길 바란다.
