학교 후문으로 나와 조금만 올라가면 오래된 기와집이 보인다. 대개 학생들은 이곳을 다례나 사서삼경과 같은 교양과목을 듣는 곳으로만 알고 있지만 민속자료 제 7호 지정문화재이다. 국민대 학생외에도 관람을 원하는 사람은 누구나 관람을 할 수 있고, 단체관람을 할 경우 담당 교사의 설명도 들을 수 있다.
멋스러운 기와와 장독대를 바라보면, 절로 마음이 차분해지는 이곳은 데이트 장소로도 손색이 없을만큼 조용하고 분위기가 있다.
또한 사랑채와 별채는 각종 세미나와 스터디를 위한 장소로도 제공이 된다고 하니 학교내에서 모임을 갖는 그룹들에게는 희소식이 아닐 수 없다. 장소를 빌리려면 미리 신청서를 작성해 예약해야 제때 빌릴 수 있다.
이곳이 열려있는 공간인지 몰라서 혹은 미처 생각하지 못해서 못가본 사람이라면 한번쯤 꼭 가볼 것을 추천한다.
